Legend has it that the narrowest sides of the Strait of Gibraltar have a column of Hagris, which is the ancient legend of the Strait of Gibraltar. A red band circumvents the silver pillar, which reads "A place that sails further into the world"; but before the discovery of the Americas, the sash reads "This is the edge of the world."
